French soccer star Franck Ribery admitted to having sex with a 17-year-old prostitute, sources tell the Guardian. Ribery, who has been called “the jewel of French football” by none other than soccer legend (and infamous World Cup head butter) Zinedine Zidane, claims that he did not know the teenager was underage when they slept together.

Jon Stewart rips fox news

Last week, Jon Stewart went to town on Fox News, pointing out the hypocrisy in their coverage and summing it up with a grand “Go F–k Yourselves.” It was fantastic. Understandably, Fox News responded to the bit, as Bernie Goldberg fired back, criticizing Stewart for the piece. But you’d think that the network would learn by now — that’s just asking for it.

So what’d Stewart have in store for Goldberg? First, some great lines as he broke down Goldberg’s arguments:

“I know that I criticize you and Fox News a lot, but only because you’re truly a terrible, cynical, disingenuous news organization.”

Responding to Goldberg’s claim that he “clearly wanted to be a social commentator, more than just a comedian”:

“Comedians do social commentary through comedy. That’s how it’s worked for thousands of years. I have not moved out of the comedian’s box into the news box. The news box is moving towards me.”

Ben Roethlisberger, Steelers QB

NFL spokesman Greg Aiello tweets that Roethlisberger has been suspended six games. “He must undergo comprehensive behavioral evaluation,” Aiello added.

The suspension can be reduced to four games if the Steelers QB meets certain conditions, but “failure [to] cooperate [could] lead to longer suspension,” according to Aiello.

In an at-times severely critical letter to Roethlisberger, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell wrote that “there is nothing about your conduct in Milledgeville that can remotely be described as admirable, responsible, or consistent with either the values of the league or the expectations of our fans.”

“Your conduct raises sufficient concerns that I believe effective intervention now is the best step for your personal and professional welfare,” he wrote.

Justin Bieber and Tina Fey rock snl in a steamy sketch

In addition to performing two songs on this week’s “Saturday Night Live,” Justin Bieber also appeared in a sketch alongside Tina Fey and Fred Armisen.

In it, Bieber plays Fey’s student–the only student in her class that makes her feel…special.

The first problem? Fey can’t decide if she wants to date him or push him in a stroller.

The second problem? She runs him out of class by accidentally proclaiming she wants to bathe him.

Yes, the sketch was pretty creepy, but it was also surprisingly funny (especially the line about Chico’s chunky jewelry).

Glenn Beck is a rich SOB

Just how handsomely does it pay to be one of the most controversial men in America? For Glenn Beck, $32 million.

Beck, who became a household name in 2009, pulled in the shocking sum through a revenue stream that includes books, radio, TV, digital media, and speaking fees.

Interestingly, Forbes reports that Beck’s Fox News contract is the least lucrative of all his ventures.

According to the Forbes analysis, Beck earned $12 million from book sales thanks to his “profit participation co-venture with Simon & Schuster typically reserved for authors like Stephen King.” He has a five-year, $50 million contract with Premiere Radio Networks that netted $10 million for the year. His website, supported by both ads and an “Insider” subscription service as well as retail merchandise sales, brought in another $4 million. Speaking fees and events like his “Bold Fresh Tour” with Bill O’Reilly earned him $3 million, and his Fox News contract brought in $2 million. Add in a final $1 million from his Fusion magazine, and Beck had a $32 million year.

Beck told Forbes that he is more interested in the business than the politics of what he does.

“I could give a flying crap about the political process,” he said. “We’re an entertainment company.”

As Dwyane Wade’s divorce proceedings continue to play out, new tidbits emerge. The latest concerns an old claim that the Miami Heat star gave his wife an STD.

Wade’s wife Siohvaughn claimed in January 2009 that the All Star gave her chlamydia, but a family friend says the allegation is untrue.
TMZ reports that Andrea Williams, described as “a close friend of the Wades,” testified that Siohvaughn previously said she got the disease
from a man she was seeing while married to Wade. Wade’s wife dropped the claim in February and the Miami guard sued her over the allegation.

LL Cool J versus Sarah Palin and fox news

Fox News has an unlikely adversary: rapper LL Cool J.

After the network announced that Sarah Palin would host a special Thursday called “Real American Stories” — featuring an interview with LL Cool J, among other celebrities — the rapper hit back on Twitter claiming they were lying.

“Fox lifted an old interview I gave in 2008 to someone else & are misrepresenting to the public in order to promote Sarah Palins Show. WOW,” he tweeted.
