Fox News has an unlikely adversary: rapper LL Cool J.
After the network announced that Sarah Palin would host a special Thursday called “Real American Stories” — featuring an interview with LL Cool J, among other celebrities — the rapper hit back on Twitter claiming they were lying.
“Fox lifted an old interview I gave in 2008 to someone else & are misrepresenting to the public in order to promote Sarah Palins Show. WOW,” he tweeted.

As for Lil’ Tony and his co-stars, they were selected through a casting agent known for finding child actor look-alikes for adult stars.
The fake scar was a nice touch.

Ipads for college students
Seton Hill University, a liberal-arts institution in Pennsylvania with more than 2,100 students, announced a program on Tuesday that offers an iPad to every full-time student.
Distribution will begin in the fall. Incoming freshmen will also receive a 13-inch MacBook laptop, which Seton Hill will replaced after two years; current sophomores, juniors, and seniors can opt into that program.
The iPad distribution marks the beginning of the university’s Griffin Technology Advantage Program, which will also include a completely wireless campus, quadrupled bandwith, and faculty training in advanced technologies. Students will be charged an additional $500 per semester in fees for the new technology program, and the university says it has absorbed the cost of the iPads.
“The iPad will lighten the backpacks of Seton Hill University students,” said JoAnne W. Boyle, president of Seton Hill University, in an e-mail message to The Chronicle.

This is the sport that takes a lifetime to master. It requires hours upon hours of daily training. It humbles even the greatest of athletes and the strongest of men.
You don’t do MMA as a side job and win championships against the best in the world.
At least, that was the conventional wisdom before Carwin came along and blew that school of thought to bits.
Carwin still holds down a full-time job as an engineer and is a married father of a newborn daughter. That’s plenty to make the average man weary at the end of a lengthy day. When other men are calling it a day, however, is when Carwin is just beginning.

Obama Tickle Fight: President Admits Breaking Friend’s Arm During Childhood In Indonesia

President Barack Obama has been accused of starting a tickle fight and breaking a friend’s arm. Questioned about the incident during a television interview, the president neither confirmed nor denied the tickling but admitted he caused the injury.
Don’t expect any Eric Massa-like repercussions from these revelations. Obama couldn’t have been more than 10 years old when it happened.
“You tickled the guy?” asked Putra Nababan of Indonesia’s RCTI.
Obama appeared to dodge the question.
“He said you tickled him. You tickled him from the back,” pressed Nababan.
“Please tell him that I apologize for that,” said the president. “I felt so bad. I remember feeling terrible.”
Nababan indicated the friend was OK, and continued with the light-hearted interview. Obama also denied teasing females to get their attention, though he cracked a smile as he answered the question.Obama was supposed to visit Indonesia recently but canceled the trip to focus on health care reform. The president spent several years of his childhood there and has said that he’s looking forward to the rescheduled trip in June. In the meantime, he was able to share a few laughs and some of his favorite memories with Nababan.
